Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are too sweet for words as they fly to Israel
Kapuso Primetime Queen and King Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes excited DongYan fans as they fly off to Israel for Miss Universe 2021 where Marian will be part of the event as one of the judges.
The couple left the country together on Deecember 6 as seen in the couple's Instagram stories. Marian and Dingdong are seen sitting comfortably next to each other on a plane while wearing their masks.
Marian is set to judge in the prestigious pageant and in preparation for the big night on December 13, Marian flew to Israel along with her glam team.
Marian's management team, headed by Mark Tuviera, said in a past press conference that Marian was "handpicked" by the Miss Universe Organization to be a part of this year's selection committee.
"Nung um-oo si Marian, she was vetted by the Miss Universe Organization so nakita nila syempre 'yung massive [social media] presence niya and everything, so sila 'yung lumapit and talagang nagpaalam on how to reach Miss Marian," he said.
The Kapuso actress shared how grateful she is for the new endeavor, "Minsan ka lang siguro mabigyan ng pagkakataong makabilang sa isang mahalagang okasyon kung saan doon magsasama sama [lahat], at syempre, bitbit mo 'yung bandila ng [Pilipinas]," she said.
Traveling to Israel is reportedly the couple's first out-of-the-country trip since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020. Although the couple have not yet shared whether Dingdong will be accompanying Marian throughout her trip including attending the Miss Universe competition.
